Mini Bus
The climate in Sierra Leone can be challenging for vehicles and it is very difficult to hire safe transportation for our charity whilst we are out there with volunteers.
In 2016 we purchased our first mini bus and later a 4×4 but sadly the weather and harsh road conditions have taken their toll and we have now sold both vehicles. It has been a challenge to find a replacement and having looked at vehicle importation, the trustees decided that this was not economically viable and would take too much time to deal with.
After an exhausting search, the charity has now taken possession of our new transportation, namely another 12 seater minibus which we hope will last us for at least the next five years. Safety of ourselves and our volunteers is absolutely paramount when we are travelling in the country and we are really pleased that we have secured this for our use.
