Masama Treatment Centre
We have now built two treatment centres in the grounds of our two schools, the Simon Jen Masama Primary school and the Bayande Science Academy where the children, staff and their families can now obtain free basic first aid and healthcare. These are very unique within educational settings in Sierra Leone but are vital as far as we are concerned.
In it’s first year alone in Masama at least 500 people benefitted from being treated at the centre.
The treatment centre at Bayande is not being used yet but the structure is complete and we are hoping to obtain funds for medical equipment so that it can become operational.
